02 What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet or smartphone) when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences for a period of time.
Alongside cookies, similar technologies may be used: browser local and session storage, web beacons (pixels) and software development kits (SDKs). For brevity, all of these are referred to as “cookies” in this Policy.
- First-party and third-party. First-party cookies are set by the rbesolov.com domain; third-party cookies are set by external providers (for example, analytics services or embedded videos).
- Session and persistent. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies are stored for a set period.

All other categories (functional, analytics, marketing, embedded content) are set only with your prior consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive). Consent is requested via the cookie banner before such files are placed and may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
